Let's Glow Crazy
What you need to know!
Enter the Let's Glow Crazy event through the ASP doors; look for the banner!
This is a free event, and students will be given one piece of glow gear at the time of entry. Students are welcome to wear their own glow gear from home, and they may also purchase additional pieces at the concession stands.
Students Pre-K thru 2nd grade will enjoy the inflatables, which will be located in the gym. To keep this safe and fun for our younger students, ONLY Pre-K to 2nd grade students are allowed in the gym.
Students 3rd grade thru 5th grade will have a dance party in the cafeteria. To keep this safe and fun for our older students, ONLY 3rd thru 5th grade students are allowed in the cafeteria.
Each venue will have adult chaperones to ensure safety, but parents are asked to stay with their younger students if they have children at both venues.
This is NOT a drop-off event. All students MUST have a parent/guardian in attendance.
Each venue will have its own concession stand, where we will have small snacks, bottled waters, and glow sticks available for purchase. Â Items offered at the concession stands will be priced at 2/$1. This event is cash only to keep things easy! Feel free to bring you own water bottle and refill at our water refill stations located in the cafeteria and outside the gym.
In the gym, there will be the use of black lights and there will be "Kidz Bop Kidz" music played through a speaker system.
In the cafeteria, there will be the use of black lights and we will have a DJ handling the music to keep things safe and fun. Please note: while there will be no use of strobe lights, the DJ will have lights that beat with the music. Please take this into consideration.
Don't forget to wear any glow clothing that you own! White shirts with neon designs are always FUN! Check Pinterest for inspiration.
What we need from you!
We need your help. Here's when we need help:
We need 4 volunteers to assist with set-up (starting at 4:30)
This will include set-up of concession stands, decor, etc.
We need 12 volunteers during the event (six in each venue)
This will include concession sales, monitoring the students and venues, and monitoring safety in the inflatables.
We need 4 volunteers to assist with clean-up (we should be finished by 7:30)
This will include the breakdown of concession stands, decor, etc.
